The expansion follows a fast first full year in Ecuador. Official Superintendencia de Compañías figures cited in the report show Starbucks recorded USD 5.4M in 2025 sales while operating only in Quito.
That represented 194% growth versus 2024, the year the chain began operating in Ecuador.
The Coast expansion puts Starbucks into a more competitive field. Sweet & Coffee generated more than USD 74M in revenue, while Juan Valdez posted more than USD 26M.
