
Banco Pichincha Reports 6.5M Customers and 82% Digital Transactions
Banco Pichincha is using its 120-year mark to highlight scale, digitization and credit reach.
El Universo reports that Banco Pichincha now has more than 6.5 million customers, up from nearly 3 million in 2018.
The bank says that customer base represents 37% of Ecuador's population and a 122% increase over the period.

The bank also reports more than 200 agencies, more than 1,400 ATMs and more than 10,500 Mi Vecino points nationwide.
Of those Mi Vecino points, 680 are satellite correspondents in rural areas without internet or mobile signal.
Women Entrepreneurs And Housing
El Universo reports Banco Pichincha disbursed $1.4 billion in more than 201,000 credits to women entrepreneurs between 2025 and 2026 to date.
The bank also says it trained 156,000 women in financial education and managerial and digital skills.
In social-interest housing, Banco Pichincha says it placed $115 million in the last year and positions itself as the bank granting the most credits under the Miti Miti program.
